Glitter and Gold
Makeup
I have a slight makeup obsession and I have a feeling I am not the only one. So below is everything that I use and LOVE!
Lids:

These three pallets are my favorite because of the variety. I usually don't have a need to wear a lot of eye shadow. I typically do a glittery neutral shade on top of a basic neutral shade. If I want a two tone look I do use two glittery shades. The pallet on the top right is called Beauty Gems by Ulta. I purchased it for $7.99 around the holidays and it is my all time fav! It is mainly neutral shades and some glittery ones too!! The left pallet is the Urban Decay Naked 2 pallet. If I am wearing an outfit with gold tones I will use the glittery gold shades that come with this one. The right pallet is the Urban Decay Smokey eye. I don't use this one unless I am going for a darker look. I really like the silver glitter shade that comes in this one.
Lashes and Brows:

So, I am super picky about my eye lashes and my brows. No chunks and no drawn on eyebrows. The left is the Loreal voluminous mascara. It comes with conditioner and black mascara. This makes my extremely short eyelashes look long! It also prevents chunks. The middle is the primer I use before I put my eye shadow on. The right is the Urban Decay brow box. I use the darkest shade available. I just use this to fill in my natural eyebrows. I would say that I have very good eyebrows when it comes to shape. So with this box I use a small angled brush and just fill them in so they look a little darker and thicker. However, I do not draw them on.
Highlight and foundation:

I am huge believer in adding something extra to make your face come to life. So we will start with the top photo. I use a bronzer stick by L.A. Girl just below my cheek bone for some tinted color. The two items in the middle are my favorite go-to highlighters. The left is a liquid highlighter by BECCA. It comes with a powder but I prefer the liquid. The one to the right is the strobing pallet by Ulta. I typically use the lightest shade and apply it just above my cheek bone. On the right is my baking powder. I use the baking powder instead of a concealer because it doesn't dry my face out. I apply it just under my eye and let it set for about a minute. The bottom picture is the primer base that I use before putting on my foundation. If you like a primer spray I do also use Evian. The middle item is the newest foundation I have been trying. I dot it all over my face and use my sponge to blend it in. It is by Philosophy. The right is the matte poreless foundation I had been using before. I recommend it for people who suffer from super dry skin. It is by Maybelline.
